GOSHEN, the new EP of SUPER PARQUET will be released in March 2025 on AIRFONO Label. Three long tracks, UBAC, NORSKA and the eponymous PASSE DE GOSHEN. They refer through geography to delicate paths, real or fictional, of our world. Ubac as the slope of a mountain exposed to the north, or Noska from La Horde du Contrevent of Damasio, like so many Everests that they have had to climb for ten years, which today gives their music an indisputable strength and legitimacy. Exploring a primary forest, the band draws its inspiration from the musical tradition of the Massif Central, making the cabrette, the drone box and the banjo collide with the most unbridled electronic set-ups. A unique and singular blend of raw, sharp acoustics, with electronic loops and sound design transmutations that plunges the audience into an abyssal trance where each theme becomes an invitation to abandon, like a Dionysian and syncretic round. In this fertile tension, Super Parquet manages to produce an infinite, innovative musical dialogue, with a strong taste for repetitive motifs, the ternary and drones, micro-variations of timbre and sonic and psychedelic experiments.
