GOSHEN, SUPER PARQUET's new EP, was released in March 2025 on AIRFONO label. Three long tracks, UBAC, NORSKA, and the eponymous PASSE DE GOSHEN. They refer through geography to delicate paths, real or fictional, in our world. Ubac, the north-facing slope of a mountain, or Noska, La Horde du Contrevent de Damasio, like so many Everests that they have had to climb over the past ten years, giving their music today an undeniable strength and legitimacy. Exploring a primary forest, the group draws its inspiration from the musical tradition of the Massif Central, making the cabrette, the drone box, and the banjo collide with the most unbridled electronic setups. A unique and singular blend of raw, sharp acoustics, electronic loops and sonic transmutations, which plunges the audience into an abysmal trance where each theme becomes an invitation to abandonment, like a Dionysian and syncretic round. In this fertile tension, Super Parquet manages to produce an infinite, innovative musical dialogue, with a pronounced taste for repetitive motifs, the ternary, drones and drones, micro-variations of timbre and sonic and psychedelic experiments.
